Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to many common questions that you may have. If you don’t find an answer to your question, feel free to contact us.

Do RSX™ cables need to be “burned in”?

Yes. Burning in RSX cables (also known as conditioning or breaking in) can be accomplished in a few different ways. Ideally, connecting your cables to a “cable cooker” will get the job done in a few days depending on what type of cable is being burned in. (Phono cables will take the least amount of time while AC power cables take the longest.) If you do not have a cable cooker you can burn in your cables by simply using them in your system. Keep in mind the longer you use them the more they will burn in and the better they will sound. For more information on this topic please read our blog article.

What is your return policy?

Because every RSX cable is designed and individually crafted in the USA using the finest materials we are confident our customers will love them. That’s why we offer a 60 day, money back guarantee. If for some reason a customer is not completely satisfied with the performance of their cable, all they need to do is let us know and we will arrange a return and refund of their purchase unless otherwise discussed. All returns must be arranged through the company. Please review our entire return policy here.

Do you ship overseas and to P.O. boxes?

Currently we are only doing business in North America on a direct to customer basis through our website. We are in the process of setting up distributors in several countries and will update our website as soon as we have agreements in place with each of them.

Yes, we will ship to valid P.O. boxes after they have been verified by RSX™.

What is the warranty on your products?

Every RSX™ cable is warranted for life against manufacturing defects of any kind. This warranty is not exclusive to the original buyer, but may be transferred from one buyer to the next in perpetuity. This lifetime warranty applies only to defects incurred at the time of manufacture and does not apply to normal wear-and-tear or to subsequent damage or failure as a result of misuse or mishandling. RSX cables contain no user-serviceable parts. Any attempt to open the cable or its connectors will immediately void this warranty.

If your cable or other RSX product fails as a result of faulty materials or manufacture at any time, contact RSX
at info@rsxtech.com for a return authorization and send the product back to us by prepaid carrier. RSX will determine, in its sole discretion, if the failure is under warranty and, if so, will repair it or will replace it with a new cable of the same, or a more current model of the same or better performance and will send it back to you, delivery prepaid. Please view our entire warranty here.

Where can I purchase your products?

RSX™ cables can be purchased directly through our  domestic and international dealers and distributors, which can be viewed here: Dealers and Distributors

We will be adding worldwide distributors and limited retail partners in the near future.
