No cable can achieve full performance without burn-in and simply playing records can never produce enough signal to ever burn in a phono cable. A special electronic burn-in device or first using them as line-level interconnects can resolve this problem for RCA-to-RCA phono cables, but not for those with DIN connectors.
This adapter temporarily converts DIN-to-RCA cables to RCA-to-RCA cables for burning them in. Because of its high quality and good-sound, it can also be used to save more than its own cost by eliminating the need to buy a new phono cable when changing from a DIN-equipped tonearm or turntable to one that uses RCA connectors at the pickup end.
